As I turned her off, and flipped the lights in to the "0" position, I took a second. The doors were shut, and the radio was off. Inside there was perfect silence.

I looked around the Cabin, covered in plastics, leather, and leatherette, all of which is coated in the light musk of Black Ice . And then; I smiled.

I was happy, because my car and I, for just a split second in that perfect silence, were one.

As I got out of the GLI and walked to my trunk, I couldn't help but remember one of my favorite quotes ever.

Our cars are living, breathing pieces of us. Keep 'em healthy, keep 'em safe, and from time to time, let them loose. :)

Why would you want something that deprives you of mechanical interaction with the car?

Automatic headlights and wipers are right there with automatic transmissions and touch screens.

I like having gadgets in my car, like sound systems, touch screens ETC, but I don't like the fact I can't shut them all off for fun driving times
